Accounts Clerk

Pelican Management Consultants Inc. is a Management Consultancy Firm which assists businesses with improving their services by reducing costs and enhancing their performance and growth.

We are looking for a resultsdriven and goaloriented Accounts Clerk to focus on general bookkeeping and to keep track of the day to day financial transactions of the business record keeping and necessary filings.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Providing accounting support within the department
  
• Research track and resolve accounting problems
  
• Input vouchers invoices checks account statements reports and other records
  
• Key daily worksheets to the general ledger system
  
• Preparing and issuing checks
  
• Process bills for payment
  
• General office and administrative duties as required
  

• Honesty and integrity
  
• Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Excellent report writing skills
  
• Organized with strong attention to detail
  
• Knowledge of QuickBooks software
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word)
  
• Minimum of 1 years experience in an accounting environment
