Assistant Operation Executive Planning

Responsibilities:

Supervise port operations including loading unloading and storage of cargo.

Coordinate activities with port workers crane operators and truck drivers.

Collaborate with shipping agents and customs officials to ensure proper documentation and clearance processes.

Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations related to port operations including hazardous materials handling and environmental regulations.

Implement quality control measures to maintain the integrity of goods during transit and storage.

Monitor inventory levels and oversee the efficient storage and handling of goods.

Coordinate with warehouse staff to maintain accurate inventory records and prevent stock shortages or overages.

Supervise and motivate port staff providing training and guidance as needed.

Requirements

Requirement:

O Level NITEC in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management. Other disciplines with experience in logistics operations management

Proficiency in MS Excel

Ability to work independently

Good communication skills

Ability to work in a port environment which may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions loud noises and heavy machinery.

Proven experience in port operations and logistics with a focus on supervisory roles.
