Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Incident Response Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in incident response and cyber security with a deep understanding of the latest threats and trends in the industry. The Incident Response Specialist will be responsible for detecting analyzing and responding to security incidents as well as implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our clients systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze security events and alerts to identify potential security incidents.

Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents including root cause analysis and remediation.

Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement security controls and measures to prevent future incidents.

Stay uptodate with the latest security threats vulnerabilities and industry trends.

Provide recommendations for improving security posture and incident response processes.

Participate in security incident simulations and exercises to test and improve incident response capabilities.

Document and report on security incidents including their impact and remediation efforts.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in incident response or a similar role.

Strong understanding of cyber security principles techniques and technologies.

Experience with security tools such as SIEM IDS/IPS and vulnerability scanners.

Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST ISO and PCI DSS.

Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or GIAC are a plus.
