The Express Store Operations Coordinator will be responsible for retaining current stores and maintaining
excellent relations with them. This role involves ensuring stores meet set criteria, managing inventory
accuracy, coordinating with various teams, and optimizing store operations for a seamless customer
experience.
Responsibilities:
● Store Verification:
○ Ensure the store matches all set criteria.
○ Direct the express operations team regarding fresh checks, item scanning, and stock takes to
ensure accurate quantities.
○ Identify stock needs during the onboarding process.
● Integration and Inventory Management:
○ Ensure the store POS integration is healthy and maintains accurate inventory levels.
○ Liaise with the express operations team for regular inventory checks to ensure compatibility
with the app catalog.
○ Report technical issues promptly to the product team through the correct channels.
● Communication and Coordination:
○ Actively communicate with stakeholders and highlight operational issues early.
○ Meet deadlines for store go-live operations according to the expansion plan.
● Catalog Management:
○ Request item lists from stores to verify barcodes, prices, quantities, and descriptions match
express criteria.
○ Work with the store POS system manager to integrate templates and coordinate with the
catalog team for tech support.
○ Test integration features like byp, auto out of stock, and auto-hide.
● Operational Oversight:
○ Ensure items are properly sorted and arranged within departments to meet express criteria.
○ Authorize the operations team to test item availability during the soft launch phase.
○ Set stock threshold values to enhance customer experience based on testing results.
● Performance Monitoring:
○ Monitor and evaluate the found rate of orders (test/live) and adjust stock accordingly.
○ Maintain healthy found rates and item variety.
○ yze daily stock levels and demand to maintain optimal stock levels.
● Technical Monitoring:
○ Monitor tech features or issues related to the catalog and suggest improvements.
○ Maintain live communication with other departments (Operations, Tech, etc.).
● Continuous Improvement:
○ Liaise with stores to identify areas for improvement in found rates, stock levels, and item
variety.
○ Generate new ideas for the catalog to attract customers and increase conversions.
○ yze customer behavior to enhance item variety in stores.
○ Conduct regular stock monitoring and ensure all available items are live on the app.
○ Prepare regular reports as per business needs.
