Responsibilities
Picker Management
- Address performance daily on (i) replacement compliance (ii) fill rate (iii) failed rate
- Training on pelican features, processes or order fulfillment according to performance
- Training on operations, processes, performance kpis, etc for any new pickers
- Allocate areas/ categories of focus to pickers to manage availability (if applicable)
- Ensure pickers are adhering to uniform and behavior guidelines
- Ensure pickers process and fulfill orders as per talabat best practices and standards
Daily Activities
- Ensure any items unavailable are validated prior to marking as unavailable (& offer replacement)
- Manage availability for fresh items and categories (i) Fruit & Veg (ii) Meat, fish and poultry (iii) dairy & eggs (iv) Promotion items
- Ensure KVIs are checked periodically throughout the day and manage availability on pelican accordingly
- Work with store management to understand stock depth of KVIs and highest OOS products
- Ensure that any ortment or pricing issues are reported in a timely manner to talabat, i.e: discrepancies between descriptions/prices and barcodes and/or issues with pelican checkout process.
- Ensure all talabat related software/hardware is in working condition or raise any issues immediately with local operations team
Weekly Activities
- Review operational challenges specific to the store and implement solutions with pickers and vendor management (ie. weighted items solution)
- Monitor and drive all performance metrics (vendor prep time, OOS%, replacement, GMV loss, etc)
- Review OOS trends and adjust strategy and focus accordingly
- Work closely with vendor store management to understand supply process and levels
- Ensure pickers have an efficient schedule/roster with a supply vs demand model that will cater to offers, seasonalities, as well vouchers as well as account for time off as per the agreement carried forward between talabat and the third party company.
