BRM Architect

The Telecoms Billing Revenue Management role with Elastic Charge Engine (ECE) focuses on managing billing and revenue processes within the telecommunications industry. The successful candidate will work with Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) ECE which is the core chargingengine technology of the BRM system. ECE handles both online and offline charging ensuring accurate and efficient billing for telecom services.

Responsibilities

1. Charging Configuration and Management:
   
• Configure and manage the Elastic Charging Engine (ECE) to handle usage charging for telecom services.
  
• Collaborate with network mediation systems to receive usage requests and process call detail records (CDRs) for both online and offline charging.
  
• Ensure that ECE rates events accurately based on service type duration and volume.
  
2. Integration with Pricing Design Center (PDC):
   
• Work closely with the Pricing Design Center (PDC) to define rates rating rules and pricing data.
  
• Enrich event definitions in PDC to customize charging logic for specific telecom services.
  
• Use PDC data to determine the price of events during rating.
  
3. RealTime Balance Management:
   
• Implement realtime balance management using ECE.
  
• Calculate how much quota a customer can use based on their balance.
  
• Monitor and manage customer balances during prepaid sessions.
  
4. Vendor Integration and APIs:
   
• Integrate ECE with other systems such as the Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) for policydriven charging.
  
• Utilize ECE APIs for seamless integration with topup systems and other components of the charging solution.
  
5. Performance Optimization and Scalability:
   
• Leverage ECE s inmemory charging technology to achieve low service latencies and high performance.
  
• Ensure ECE scales efficiently to handle thousands of transactions per second.
  
6. LocationBased Contract:
   
• The role is based in either Riyadh or Bahrain for a contract duration of 12 months
