Jr Staff Accountant

Job Summary:

The Junior Staff Accountant will support a variety of accounting activities and ensure the accuracy of financial records. This entrylevel role offers a prime opportunity to acquire practical accounting experience and build a solid base for a prosperous career in finance. The Junior Staff Accountant will report directly to the Senior Staff Accountant and collaborate extensively with the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aid in crafting monthly quarterly and yearly financial statements.
• Execute data entry and uphold precise financial records.
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
• Handle transactions for accounts payable and receivable.
• Support the monthend and yearend closing procedures.
• Aid in the development of budgets and projections.
• Perform elementary financial analysis and compile reports.
• Contribute to internal and external audits by supplying required documentation.
• Adhere to company policies and accounting principles.
• Undertake additional tasks as delegated by the Senior Staff Accountant.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related discipline.
• Two years of accounting experience with internships or relevant coursework being advantageous.
• Fundamental comprehension of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Skilled in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Famous) and MS Office Suite especially Excel.
• Exceptional precision and attention to detail.
• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to operate autonomously and within a team.
• Uphold a high standard of integrity and ethical values.
