Job Title: Purview Consultant

- Assess client data governance and compliance needs and develop tailored Microsoft Purview solutions to address them.
- Lead the implementation of Microsoft Purview solutions including installation configuration and customization.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of Purview with existing systems and processes.
- Provide expert guidance on data classification metadata management data lineage and data discovery best practices.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for client teams to educate them on Microsoft Purview capabilities and best practices.
- Assist clients in defining and implementing data governance policies standards and procedures using Purview.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolution or escalation as needed.
- Stay current on Microsoft Purview updates features and industry trends to continuously improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Document solution designs configurations and best practices for internal knowledge sharing and client reference.
- Indepth knowledge of Microsoft Purview or similar data governance and metadata management platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g. SQL Server Azure SQL Database).
- Strong understanding of data governance principles metadata management concepts and data lineage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Proven ability to lead and manage implementation projects from requirements gathering to deployment and postimplementation support.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or similar are a plus.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed (if applicable).
