Role Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Website Manager. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience managing WordPress websites and a strong understanding of the PHP platform. This role requires technical proficiency, creative problem-solving ss, and attention to detail to oversee the maintenance, optimization, and functionality of our website.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of our WordPress website, ensuring it remains up-to-date, secure, and fully functional.
• Implement website updates, including content changes, plugin installations, and theme modifications.
• Optimise website performance for speed, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Monitor website ytics and provide insights to improve site traffic, engagement, and conversions.
• Trouble and resolve technical issues, such as bugs, errors, and compatibility issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and IT, to execute website-related initiatives.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in web development and the WordPress ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain doentation for website processes, procedures, and configurations.
• Perform regular backups and implement security measures to safeguard website data.
• Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on website management tools and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience managing WordPress websites, with a strong understanding of the PHP platform.
• Excellent relational database ss with MySQL
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5,CSS, AJAX,JavaScript, JQuery Expert and other web development languages.
• Experience with Core PHP,Wordpress, MVC frameworks (CodeIgniter & Laravel)
• Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including responsive design ,bootstrap, CSS3, ajax, Jquery and HTML5.
• Familiarity with website optimization techniques, SEO principles, and accessibility standards.
• Proficient with code versioning tools including Git and SVN.
• Solid grasp of website ytics tools, such as Google ytics.
• Excellent problem-solving ss and ability to trouble technical issues independently.
• Strong communication ss, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Prior experience with website security protocols and best practices is a plus.
• Creative thinking and a pion for staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
