EVENTS SERVICE MANAGER - Andaz Doha

Duties and responsibilities related to the Events Service Manager role:

• Lead all aspects of events operations department including managing the events operations team delegating tasks provide guidance and support and ensure all colleagues are working cohesively toward common objectives
• In collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability
• Ensure seamless execution of events by liaising with colleagues vendors and suppliers to coordinate logistics technical requirements and special requests
• Be creative and think outside the box regularly assessing and refining service skills of colleagues and experimenting with new ways of developing the department
• Hire and retain new team members embracing recruitment and explore new ways of attracting top talent

Qualification:

• Ideally with a relevant degree apprenticeship or diploma in Hospitality or events management
• Minimum 1 year work experience as Events/Banquets Manager
• Good operational administrative and interpersonal skills are a must
• Preferably Arabic speaking female candidates
