With a focus on customercentricity and implementation competencies our client has emerged as a leader in providing electrical connection technology. Our client connections ensure reliable transfer of power signals data and media across numerous fields of application: in futureoriented growing markets such as medical technology military and security energy as well as in sectors like industrial electronics measurement and testing technology or automotive technology.

JobResponsibilities:

Plans organizes leads and coordinates the activities of the Technical department.
Continuously monitors the performance indicators of the Technical department and identifies along with the team actions to improve results
Audits the processes under their authority as necessary to ensure their smooth functioning and compliance with existing standards
Contributes to the improvement of existing standards to enhance process performance
Maintains communication with both external and internal partners
Defines the cost and investment budget for the Technical department and ensures its proper implementation
Together with department coordinators and the General Director defines the investment budget for the company
Ensures good relations between the technical department and the rest of the local organization
Prepares the competency matrix specific to the department as well as personnel development plans
Provides management with timely information for strategic decisionmaking
Evaluates and monitors new technologies and applies process specifications for implementation in production
Provides technical support for the specific technological operations and processes of the company such as connectivity systems cabling in compliance with current regulations and customer requests
Ensures the implementation of new manufacturing products/processes within the company
Manages the relocation of manufacturing products/processes to/from other locations
Manages the equipment and building maintenance process
Organizes activities for the extension/development of the building/processes in line with the companys development plan and budget
Implements and manages machining processes (tool shop)
Manages the Idea Management process and improvement projects with the support of the PO department under their direct supervision
Sets and monitors design themes for new products and the modernization of existing ones
Ensures optimal design for locally developed products
Ensures the proper implementation and standardization of building layout and production lines
Identifies process automation solutions to streamline activities with a focus on Industry 4.0
Develops and implements the training and professional development plan for subordinates
Manages the dynamic versatility matrix of subordinate personnel

1. Specialized competencies:
Project management;
Knowledge of Lean Management concepts;
Proficiency in analysis methods (Ishikawa 5Why Brainstorming VSM);
Understanding of work division and standardization (REFA);
Familiarity with material flow concepts;
Basic knowledge of personnel administration;
Basic understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).

2. Digital competencies (PC operation):

Windows Office AutoCAD BCS (product technical specifications database) ERP.

3. Linguistic competencies:

English language business level;
German language advantageous.

4. Social competencies/skills:

Resource management skills: planning task allocation decisionmaking time management meeting deadlines delegation;
Leadership skills: responsibility involvement flexibility feedback and quality control coaching;
Native aptitudes and qualities: problemsolving accepting and providing constructive criticism adaptability motivation taking initiatives;
Team spirit empathy patience;
Innovation and continuous improvement.
