Shadow Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs in a classroom setting.
2. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
3. Assist in the development of social, communication, and academic skills.
4. Monitor and document student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
5. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
6. Provide support during transitions and throughout the school day to ensure the student’s safety and well-being.

Qualifications:

1. Fluent in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
2. Minimum BA in Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Special Education.
3. Previous experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable.
4. Strong understanding of various special education strategies and techniques.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
7. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
