BCBA Board Certified Behavioral Analyst

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify students behavioral needs and the factors contributing to challenging behaviors.
  
• Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings.
  
• Provide direct and consultative behavioral support services to students teachers and families.
  
• Collaborate with teachers special education staff and other related service providers to integrate behavior intervention strategies into students educational programs.
  
• Train and support school staff and families in the implementation of behavior intervention plans and strategies.
  
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans making adjustments as necessary.
  
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments interventions and progress monitoring.
  
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings including IEP meetings to develop and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
  
• Stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral interventions through ongoing professional development and training.
  

Requirements

• BCBA certification given by the BACB
  
• Certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analysts
  
• Masters degree in Special Education or related field
  
• Minimum 1 years Behavior Specialist experience required
