Job Title: Parttime Assistant Accountant (Permanent)
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Firm Accountant by completing basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
- Tasks include creditors processing payroll data collection Xero maintenance and general invoicing.
- Manage invoices for Tenants and handle associated queries.
- Administer Trust Accounts and conduct end reporting with reconciliations.
Work Arrangement:
- Newly created parttime role (16 hours per week across two days) with potential for a hybrid working arrangement after training.
- Initially officebased not fully remote.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant with exposure to Accounts Payable management systems.
- Intermediate MS Office skills especially in Excel with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build team relationships.
- Desirable: relevant tertiary qualification.
