Teacher Assistant

As a teacher assistant you will work closely with classroom teachers to provide instructional support facilitate learning activities and create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students. Office job

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Students: Monitor students during class recess and other activities to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  
• Provide Individualized Support: Work with students oneonone or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives address individual needs and provide extra assistance as required.
  
• Promote Inclusivity and Diversity: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that respects and celebrates diversity and supports the social and emotional development of all students.
  
• Attend Meetings and Training: Participate in staff meetings professional development sessions and training workshops to enhance your skills and stay updated on educational best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may require additional education or coursework in education child development or a related field.
  
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with students teachers parents and other stakeholders.
  
• Patience empathy and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  
• Knowledge of basic instructional techniques and educational principles.
  
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and support various classroom activities.
