Job Title: Business Development Manager (Oil & Gas)
Location: Abuja
Job summary: Our client an oil and gas company is looking to hire a Business Development Manager.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills excellent communication abilities and a proven
track record in driving business growth within the oil and gas sector. This role will involve identifying
new business opportunities developing strategic partnerships and expanding the companys market
presence.


Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends
within the oil and gas industry.
Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth
objectives.
Identify establish and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances with key industry players. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients ensuring high levels of customer
satisfaction and repeat business.
Drive sales initiatives to increase revenue including negotiating contracts and closing deals.
Prepare and present business proposals bids and tenders to potential clients and partners.
Monitor and analyze competitor activities identifying opportunities for differentiation and
market advantage.
Enhance the companys brand presence and reputation through targeted marketing and
promotional activities.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities achievements and market insights
for senior management.
Work closely with other departments including marketing production and finance to ensure
alignment of business development strategies with overall company goals.
Represent the company at industry events conferences and trade shows to network and promote business opportunities.
Develop and manage the business development budget ensuring costeffective use of
resources.


REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of Bsc in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Business Administration or
related fields.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the oil and gas industry.
Strong understanding of the oil and gas market including key trends players and technologies.
Communication Skills complex information clearly and persuasively.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with experience in market analysis and strategic
planning.
Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and
partners.
Experience in managing business development projects from conception to completion.
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
