Junior Data Scientist

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Data Scientist. As a Junior Data Scientist you will work closely with senior data scientists and crossfunctional teams to analyze data develop models and derive actionable insights to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection and Preprocessing:

   • Collect clean and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.
   • Handle missing values outliers and inconsistencies in the data.

2. Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA):

   • Perform exploratory data analysis to understand data distributions correlations and patterns.
   • Visualize data using appropriate charts graphs and dashboards.

3. Model Development:

   • Assist in building predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
   • Collaborate with senior data scientists to develop and refine model prototypes.

4. Model Evaluation and Validation:

   • Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and validation techniques.
   • Conduct A/B testing and crossvalidation to ensure model robustness and generalization.

5. Insights Generation:

   • Extract actionable insights from data analysis and communicate findings to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
   • Collaborate with business units to translate insights into business strategies and initiatives.

6. Continuous Learning and Development:

   • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data science machine learning and related fields.
   • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or related field.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Familiarity with data manipulation and visualization libraries (e.g. pandas NumPy Matplotlib seaborn).
• Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark).
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch).
• Previous internship or project experience in data science or related fields.
