Fabrication Technician

Job description:
The Seat Cushion Fabricator I will be responsible for putting production related cushion material together including foams and fabrics from simple to complex assemblies.
Tools will be common hand tools to power tools and some larger fixtures and material handling equipment.
Candidate must be able to follow simple instructions from work travelers and illustrations and blueprint drawings.
Must be able to pass a respirator physical test and work with adhesives resins and catalysts without having any allergic reactions or breathing issues.

The work fast paced in a moderate to fast pace environment is repetitive in nature is detailed requires critical adherence to established quality levels while completing within time frame and workspace allowed for the assigned task. Be able to cross train and perform other tasks as assigned.

Skills Required
must be attentive to details and be able to stand for a 10 hour shift that has 2 break and a half hour lunch in the middle of that time frame. Must adhere to all company Safety Policies nd Procedures.

Skills Preferred
Prior experience with bonding cushion materials such as foams and fabrics a plus.

Experience Required
Experience with textile foam and fabric materials and bonding them together.

Education Required
HIgh school diploma or GED
