The Learning Guild founded in 2002 and fully owned by CloserStill Media is an event media and global community with more than 65000 members worldwide. We produce a variety of resources focused on serving the needs of professionals who leverage learning technologies to manage design and develop learning solutions for improving individual and organizational performance. The Guild leverages its global community to produce a robust sales and marketing channel for industry suppliers including digital advertising and lead generation opportunities as well as conference and expositions.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

CloserStill Media is seeking an energetic creative and datadriven Key Account Manager to manage and drive growth of our most important companies for the Learning Guild Events. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for executing the companys strategy and identifying additional opportunities to increase attendee groups and satisfaction developing and executing account plans.

THE ROLE:

  • Target and recruit companies to attend our industry leading events.
  • Work in partnership with the marketing team to identify key accounts for growth.
  • Lead the sales journey from initiation to closure creating lasting professional relationships.
  • Utilize your research prowess to strategically approach prospects.
  • Act as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams.
  • Work cross functionally to ideate and plan onsite programming & events with a focus on elevating the customer experience.
  • Provide personalized service to key accounts managing all aspects of their onsite experience (registration lounge access amenities special programming).
  • Develop new business and renewal/retention strategies of key accounts to drive retention and revenue growth.
  • Drive continuous engagement yearround with key accounts.
  • Maintain and update client information in the database.
  • Liaise with the program and event teams as needed to deliver on event products for each account.
  • Track analyze and report on outcomes in detail drawing insights and presenting results clearly to facilitate sound decision making and future strategies.
  • Perform other related sales and administrative duties as needed.
  • Success in this role will be measured by delegate growth revenue growth and KPIs related to the role.


ABOUT YOU:

  • 3 years sales account management or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Google and other social platforms for prospecting
  • Embrace a culture of continuous learning and a strong growth mindset
  • Must be willing and able to travel to events and meetings 3 5 times a year plus client visits as needed
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as HubSpot Salesforce etc.
  • A collaborative spirit thriving in a remote team environment.
  • Strong project management skills being able to manage projects on an extensive scale
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (in English)
  • Ability to produce creative and wellthoughtout sales presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time
  • Knowledge of the learning and development industry a plus
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
  • Meticulous attention to detail
