Job Title: Light Industrial Machinist

Duration: 12 Months
Work Schedule: Second shift.
Job Summary:
- CNC Programmer and programming experience required.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with programming in Mastercam and experience with Haas machines too. Setting up/programming CNC machines and performing quality checks on parts.
- The successful candidate will be able to read blueprints and schematics understand technical drawings and have a strong understanding of the principles of machinings.
- Tasks range from setting up and operating plain or universal horizontal or vertical milling machines to perform machining operations such as compound angles and contours; boring compound angular holes; doing helical and spiral milling; serrating; and gear spine and keyway cutting to exacting tolerances.
- May select mount and align various specialized machine attachments and standard or improvised tooling plan sequence of operations number of cuts required and method of setup; determine set and adjust speeds feeds and depth of cut. Interprets blueprints sketches and engineering specifications; uses a variety of machinists hand tools and precision measuring instruments; makes standard shop computations; and measures marks and scribes dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Requirement:
- CNC programming experience required master cam programmer.
- 6 years programming complex tight tolerance parts successfully with Mastercam 18 19 or 20 or a similar program.
- Proficient in the use of Mastercam or similar CAM programs to effectively create efficient true 5axis programs for machine tools.
