You are committed to taking care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure.What is in it for you:Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwideLearning programs through our AcademiesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21What you will be doing:Supervises and directs Concierge activities.Provides information pertaining to all hotel services, local places of interests, restaurants, doctors, sightseeing tours and any other information likely to be of the interest to guestsRecommends first and foremost the hotels own Food and Beverage outlets before outside restaurants, with full knowledge of the outlets (e.g. cuisine, operating times, etc.)Ensures the lobby is always kept in an orderly fashion and that ashtrays are kept cleanCoordinates the paging of guests in the lobby and Food & Beverage outletsMaintains the hotel information directory (function board) and ensures that the information is current and accurate at all timesPrepares efficient work and vacation schedule for Concierge tam, taking into consideration project occupancy and forecasts and large group movementsEnsures that all Concierge team are neat, clean and punctual at all times and that they perform the task assigned to them promptly and efficiently Handle problems associated with guests and liaise with department heads or executive management in the absence of the Chef Concierge.Prints the shift report and prepares guest arrival and departure.Follow-up from trace reportAdheres to OH&S policies and procedures and ensures direct reports do the sameLog security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirementsQualificationsYour experience and skills include:Service focused personality is essentialPrevious experience in a similar leadership role is an assetStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by exampleUnderstanding and ability to work in a multi-cultural environmentAbility to work with constant interruptions with a high degree of professionalismAdditional InformationYour team and working environment:We are Dream Makers and committed to creating memorable moments for our guests and colleagues inspired by the authentic Qatari warmth and essence of generosity.Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.Alwadi Hotel Doha is the first MGallery boutique hotel located within Msheireb Downtown Doha, vibrant new retail, commercial and residential development in the heart of Qatars capital, offering 213 luxurious rooms and suites with desirable amenities, a spectacular ballroom, and five class meeting rooms, with variety of restaurants and an exclusive spa and swimming pool.
