Job Description:
Following are the requirements for the Senior Project Manager.
- State is looking for a Senior Project Manager with a penchant for project management process and tools who can effectively and efficiently join a project midstream. This is a fastmoving project with complex dependencies and will require a selfmotivated and driven individual to lead the effort.
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT APPROACH The Agency of Digital Services Enterprise Project Management Office (ADS EPMO) utilizes a hybrid agile approach to managing projects. This approach still recognizes formal phases of a project and the need for preliminary discovery requirements and formal approvals and procurement where applicable. However it does so while also promoting an environment for nimble development and testing cycles that affords timely feedback and redirection.
Knowledge requirements include:
- Project Management:
- Expertise in managing projects using a hybrid approach of waterfall and agile best practices
- 5 Years experience with managing Government IT projects preferred
- Experience with managing projects for system replacement and/or upgrade
- Experience balancing the need for system customization with system maintenance and sustainability
- Ability to manage projects with phased implementations multiple business units vendors and consultants.
- Experience managing a large budget and project timeline
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience implementing CCWIS and/or Child Welfare Systems with other states and entities is preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
- Experience with Wrike Project Management Software preferred
- Additionally prospective candidates will need to have access to a computer phone and reliable internet to be considered for this position.

- Proposed Services: A description of the Contractors proposed services to accomplish the specified work requirements including dates of completion.
- Risk Assessment: An assessment of any risks inherent in the work requirements and actions to mitigate these risks.
- Proposed Tools: A description of proposed tools that may be used to facilitate the work.
- Tasks and Deliverables: A description of and the schedule for each task and deliverable illustrated by a Gantt chart. Start and completion dates for each task milestone and deliverable shall be indicated. Must include deliverables specified in SOWRFP as well as other deliverables that may be proposed by Contractor.
- Work Breakdown Structure: A detailed work breakdown structure and staffing schedule with labor hours by skill category that will be applied to meet each milestone and deliverable and to accomplish all specified work requirements.
