Software Database Management Support Engineer- Qatar Offshore

A. Accountabilities:Responsible for installation of standard and non-standard data platform tools on the Terminal Server (Citrix, VDI) examples of tools like Azure Data Studio, VS Code, Python, Git, SQL Server, SSMS, IDQ Developer, etc.Familiarity with ETL Process & Data Integration Platform like IICS, Azure Data factory , etc.Responsible for the set-up and configuration of Data Extractors, Monitoring System, Processing Systems.Responsible for Citrix/VDI server publishing support and ensuring user readiness on Citrix/VDI environment.Support Business & Product SMEs in facilitation of UAT testing & validation.Create & Presenting changes for new Functionalities/Enhancements in Company CAB meeting (and keep track of changes).Handle incoming support requests reported on the service management platform.Ensure the performance of daily health checks of the applications, scripts, and infrastructure by support team.Ensure SLAs to better level than customer contract.Handle break/fix and configuration issues.Maintain a log of troubleshooting on the service management portal platform throughout the incident lifecycle.Conduct root cause analysis and present required reports for internal review.Assess the impact of changes performed by the vendor and internal teams and mitigate/remove any risk on the applications.Support SME in onboarding vendor resources.Handle off hours calls as per agreed ticket priority. B. Experience:3-5/- years of Work-Related experience.C. Qualifications:Good understanding and experience of working with different types of DBs like SQL Server, AZ SQLDB, PostgreSQL.Prioritize , schedule, and escalate issues (when required) to appropriate team.Create/Maintain all relevant documentation as required.Organize and coordinating recurrent meetings with Third Party/Service. Provider/Vendors to ensure timely resolution of incidents(when required) to the appropriate team.D. Education:Bachelors degree or equivalent in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology preferred.E. General Skills:Excellent English communication skills (written and oral).Passion to keep up to date in technology and promote best practices.Strong critical thinking, analytic, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.F. General Remarks:The role is in Diyar United Company- Qatar Offshore Opportunity.The budget for the role is advised further based on the location.Qatar based / Transferable visa is a plus.
