SPG Resourcing has partnered exclusively with a boutique IT/Cloud Advisory Consultancy that are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their TechOps Team. The role-holder will provide comprehensive and proactive operational support and solutions to their external clients and internal teams within the three main company divisions.
The post-holder will report to the Service Delivery Manager and will assist the internal technology team in supporting the organisations internal tools to support it s users to successfully perform their roles, alongside providing technical support to external clients where applicable.
- Contribute and support the effective delivery of internal/external IT Infrastructure Business as Usual (BAU) and Projects.
- Assist with day to day troubleshooting and support for the organisation s end users.
- Perform provisioning of IT and telephony equipment to the organisation s end users.
- Contribute to the development of a culture of high engagement, where staff are empowered and entrusted to provide the best services possible.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the CloudOps community of practice, recommending technical developments to improve the performance of the technology estate to better meet the needs of the internal business and their clients.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in the technical support of computing, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and open-source packages and solutions, and virtual and cloud computing, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
- Design, Implementation, Build in Azure New Tenancy, Subscriptions, Groups, new services to be deployed client facing.
- Key support skills in Microsoft O365/Azure platforms and applications, iOS and Android mobile devices and modern Cybersecurity applications and monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem solving/Troubleshooting capability, able to identify, understand, classify, and prioritise incidents and/or problems.
- Ability to take ownership of problems and proactively resolve technical problems, ensuring that technical solutions continue to meet business requirements.
- You take full accountability for actions taken and decisions made.
- Flourishes in a high-pressure environment and is able to work as part of a team, and independently, with a can do attitude.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
