We are currently seeking Offshore Structural Engineer, to join our Offshore Structure Engineer team based in Doha, Qatar. About The Role: Your main missions and responsibilities will be to: Basic and detailed engineering of offshore structural, both Brownfield and Greenfield. Provide technical and project execution services Functionally reports to: HOD-Structural Roles & Responsibilities Proficiency in performing structural analyses and design experience in both brownfield and greenfield engineering design of fixed offshore platforms Jacket Topside in-place fatigue analysis (both deterministic and spectral) re-assessment of existing platforms installation sequences for brownfield modifications such as extensions, equipment removal, addition design for transportation, lift, on-bottom stability design of boat landing, design of protector structures design of different types of connections, pad-eyes, clamps etc., miscellaneous brownfield design works removal, replacement, installation sequences checking of engineering reports and drawings preparation of design basis Experience in offshore site surveys and report preparation Profile: Must have Bachelor degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering Minimum five – ten years’ engineering design consultancy experience of offshore platforms – both brownfield and greenfield. Expertise in SACS Familiarity with International codes and standards – API RP 2A, AISC, DNV Excellent communication skills (both writing and speaking) Nice to have: Post Graduation in Offshore Engineering / Ocean Engineering (Preferable) Experience in Navis Works, GRLWEAP, STAAD Pro., ANSYS, ABAQUS, MOSES, USFOS Experience in the design of floating offshore structures Exposure to Structural Fabrication, Yard Engineering, etc. Experience in EPIC projects Inclusion Standards In our continuous journey to developing and building culture of inclusion, we adhere to four Inclusion Gold Standards.
