ABOUT AUSTIN ENERGY:

WORK DESCRIPTION:

We seek a driven resultsoriented individual to support the network team. The primary responsibilities for this individual will include the creation moving to production (MTP) and ongoing management of a new video streaming and onsite corporate communications service offering. The primary responsibilities of this position are:

Initial inventory of all current and potential signage locations and deployed equipment.

Configuration and implementation of signage displays.

Weekly status reports.

Daily monitoring of system status.

Create update and maintain operational documentation.

Resolution of tier1 generic network incidents and requests.

Resolution of tier2 and 3 technologyspecific incidents and requests supporting the Video Streaming and onsite Corporate Communication services.

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Years Skills / Experience

4 years of Configuring implementing and managing network streaming services AppSpace IPTV etc.

4 years of Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to deliver network solutions.

4 years of Configuring implementing and managing network devices.

4 years of Monitoring and troubleshooting complex network switches routers and firewalls.

4 years of Operating managing and supporting routing protocols specifically BGP OSPF EIGRP and VXLAN.

4 years of Operating managing and supporting nextgeneration firewalls.

4 years of Operating managing and supporting wireless networks.

4 years of Operating managing and supporting DNS.

4 years of Operating managing and supporting softwaredefined networks.

4 years of Operating managing and supporting network access controls.

Preferred (Optional):

Years Skills / Experience

2 years of Experience complying with regulatory controls.

WORK HOURS AND LOCATION:

Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40hour work week).

Additional work hours may be required to support 24hour Utility operations including evenings weekends holidays inclement weather and emergency closures.

Infrastructure team members must be onsite a minimum of twice a week.
