Development of LOB strategy & plan
- Promotes Giza Systems' image and culture internally & externally.
- Develops the pre-sales strategy to standardize the documentation's system, technical proposal final layout and the archiving systems.
- Work with other Presales Managers within different LoB(s) to standardize the documentation's system, technical proposal final layout and the archiving systems.
Sales & Development of LOB offering / solution
- Acts as a consultant/advisor to the client on complex technical issues and conduct presentations.
- Participates in meetings with the LoB General Manager regarding partnership deals and decides on the agreement's details with the vendors, ensuring its accurate documentation in the signed contract.
- Review and approve the preliminary offer for high value and complex solutions configuration.
- Transfers new leads whenever an opportunity arises to the Sales Manager to conduct research and follow-up on the outcome of the research.
Delivery of LOB solution
- Designs highly technical solutions and identifies the potential supplier(s) list for the provided solution(s).
- Reviews and approves the technical components of the proposals ensuring the efficient integration of all configured solutions before submission to the sales team for final compilation.
- Reviews the technical aspect of the Project Implementation plan prepared by the Project Managers ensuring it is achievable and within the set time frame.
- Assigns their team to the projects and provides guidance and support when needed.
- Reviews and approves the checklist of the purchase order and validates its accuracy with the quotation obtained from the Purchasing & Order Processing team.
Process Improvement
- Provides guidance and monitors the Senior Pre-Sales Consultants in writing the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the identified Managed Accounts upon client request.
- Prepares on a monthly basis activities Report highlighting key areas of the presales operations and submits to the LoB General Manager for info.
- Leads a monthly meeting with their team to get an overview of the active projects and solve occurring problems
People management
- Evaluates the performance of their direct subordinates. Reviews and approves the performance evaluation reports prepared by their subordinates for their team and submits them to the LoB General Manager for approval.
- Develop the presales team to be ready to act as a consultant/advisor to the client on complex technical issues and conduct presentations.
- Train new members and identify and encourage areas for growth and development within the team
- Be Pro-active in maintaining and increasing the team's and their own technical knowledge
- Identify training needs or requirements for themselves individually and for the team
