Senior Staff Firmware Engineer

Position Overview: AlediumHR is on the hunt for a distinguished professional to join our clients team as a Radar Firmware Lead Engineer playing a pivotal role in pioneering the future of Digital Signal Processing (D.S.P.) for Radar systems.

This role is not just a job; its an opportunity to be at the forefront of technological advancements working handinhand with our dynamic R.F. hardware and systems/software teams to breathe life into existing platforms through innovative D.S.P. design and implementation.

What Youll Do: In this engaging role you will be instrumental in the development and finetuning of algorithms and cuttingedge digital signal processing techniques for phased array radar systems. Your work will span the creation of digital waveforms to the intricacies of digital receiver technologies.

Your expertise in radar principles will be crucial as you guide the radar design from concept to fully operational state. Expect to be deeply involved in crafting and executing technical strategies for radar timing waveforms and signal and data processing techniques.

Using your proficiency in C/C VHDL and Matlab Coder tools you will verify and test embedded system drivers and algorithms ensuring excellence in every phase of development.

What Were Looking For: We are looking for a candidate with a B.S.E.E. or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering accompanied by at least 5 years of experience in D.S.P. development. The ideal candidate should be ready to obtain a DoD Security Clearance and have a deep understanding of D.S.P. filter design digital receivers and various digital signal processing techniques.

Your toolbox should include proficiency in C/C programming for realtime systems a solid grasp of hardware architecture and its interoperability with software and experience in multithread application development on Linux platforms.

Knowledge in electronically scanned array and beamformer development paired with a fundamental understanding of lab equipment will be highly valued.

Security Clearance: Eligibility for access to classified information is a must. U.S. Citizenship may be required as part of the eligibility criteria.
