Roles and Responsibilities: Clinical
- Maintain professional standards of competence in line with current best nursing practices.
- Ensure that all care needs for each patient are met in accordance with the care plan.
- Ensure that all patient care is delivered in accordance with company documented clinical standards.
- Accurately record all relevant information relating to a patients care or treatment.
- Communicate with the referring clinician in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain close liaison with other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
Specialty Care
- Basic Assessments/Vital Monitoring:
- Evaluate patients vital signs or laboratory data to determine emergency intervention needs.
- Hygienic & Nutrition Needs:
- Meet patients hygiene and nutrition requirements.
- Ambulation and Exercises:
- Assist in position changes mobilization and range of motion exercises.
- Prioritize Nursing Care:
- Allocate nursing care for assigned critically ill patients based on assessment data or identified needs.
- Psychological Support & Diversion Therapy.
- Oxygen Therapy:
- Manage BIPAP/CPAP tracheostomy care and nasal cannula/face mask administration.
- Nursing Procedures:
- Perform steam inhalation nebulization oral/nasal/ET suction BLS catheterization Ryles tube insertion etc.
- Medication Administration:
- Administer oral medicine SC IV IM injections IV fluids IV cannulation through gastric tubes or other methods.
- Advanced Assessment & Preventive Care:
- Conduct risk assessments and follow strict infection control measures such as CAUTI/CLABSI/SSI prevention.
- Specialized Services:
- Perform chemo port dressing PICC line dressing colostomy and urostomy care administer medication through syringe pump GCS monitoring CVP monitoring pain management bed sore management emergency drugs & high alert medication administration ventilator case management management of drains and care of the deceased
- Qualification: Education: Diploma in GNM/B.Sc Nursing Experience: 15 yrs of Bedside Clinical experience.
