Senior Mechanical Engineer

Your IT Recruiter is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10 years of consulting engineering experience in designing HVAC plumbing and fire systems for commercial municipal or industrial facilities to join our clients Frazer PA team.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will design various HVAC system types plumbing fire alarm and fire protection systems. Additional responsibilities include construction administration and field investigation tasks for projects field inspections developing system narratives completing load calculations equipment selection and other related design tasks.

Requirements

A bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an active Professional Engineering License is required for this position.

We would also look for experience in AutoCAD and Carrier HAP load calculation software.

Our Engineers travel locally to client sites and occasionally have overnight travel trips for projects.

Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. 5 to 10 years of Electrical Engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Motor drive experience is preferred. Skills and Abilities: Able to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Solid knowledge of engineering design software and equipment. Experience with software programs in assembly, C or higher level for microcontroller based electronic controls. Able to write technical reports and complete documentation within required timeframes. Demonstrate the ability to function calmly in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Detail-oriented while still being connected to the larger project goals/outcomes. Outstanding communication, decision-making and organizational skills. Self-motivated with a willingness to dig in and be hands-on.
