Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to guide educational decisions.
- Travel to various school sites as needed with travel expenses covered.
- Maintain meticulous records of assessments interventions and consultations.
- Provide crisis intervention services evaluating risks and coordinating responses.
- Clearly communicate assessment findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Uphold ethical standards set by professional associations and licensing boards.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and educational planning.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to implement effective interventions and support strategies.
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services to students proficiently in both English and Spanish.
Requirements
- Masters degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Illinois State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in educational settings with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish with the ability to conduct assessments and provide counseling services in both languages.
