Our client a recently refurbished luxury Hotel in Whitby, is seeking a Senior Sous Chef. The hotel stands out as a luxury accommodations leader and looks to be at the forefront of award-winning dining. The client is offering a salary between 35000 to 40,000 plus tronc and a performance bonus depending on experience with a range of additional benefits!

What Does the Role Entail?

Step into a pivotal role as a passionate and hands-on Senior Sous Chef working 10 or 12-hour shifts. You'll be the driving force behind one of the main restaurant teams, ensuring operational excellence in the Client's renowned site. You'll play a vital role in maintaining high standards and contributing to the world of fine dining with a dedicated approach to customer care and service. An AA rosette head chef leads the client's two restaurants thus the role demands creativity, precision, and leadership in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What skills will you have?

Ideally, you will have prior experience in a similar role as a Sous Chef within the hospitality sector, to give you an understanding of the industry's specific demands. While appreciating tradition, you should exhibit a forward-thinking mindset and adaptability to the demands of a high-volume operation. Your proven expertise in Restaurant practices, including organisational skills, positive attitude, and excellent customer service skill-set, will be key to your success. A creative and innovative mindset, with exceptional communication skill, are qualities the client values in the ideal candidate.
