Product Specialist - Passenger Cars

About the role

We are looking for a Product Specialist to join our Passenger Car team in Spain. This position will play an important role in shaping the companys Product offering in the local market. It is an exciting time to join the team and you will be integral in helping us to establish ourselves in the market.

You will use your knowledge and experience to help identify opportunities for growth and profitability. You will become an expert in our Products and a passionate ambassador of our Brand.

Reporting to the Product Localization Owner you will help build a business plan for our future models and rapidly deploy new vehicles. You will get to work across multiple areas of the business meet dealerships and external partners.

Main tasks andresponsibilities:

• Responsible for the positioning and launch of relevant BYD models.
• Work closely with BYD HQ and EU team; creating product and pricing proposals and managing feedback.
• Market and competitors analysis.
• Ensure availability and accuracy of all appropriate product data sources (including technical data) and price lists to Retailers including both internal and customerfacing materials and sources.
• Provides adhoc reporting and analysis as requested by line manager.
• Responsible for refining product USP.
• Product event management coordination and support the test drive of marketing activities.

Required skills qualifications and experience:

• Bachelors degree or above.
• Similar experience in Automotive industry OEM experience is a must (5 years).
• Strong organization skills with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Numerical and analytical with demonstrable attention to detail.
• High level of attention to detail analytical approach with process orientation.
• Ability to work on own initiative demonstrating ownership while being a team player.
• Excellent communication written verbal interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinking: Approach project thinking strategically while ensuring the operational details are on point.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular).
• Proven ability to influence crossfunctional teams without formal authority.
• Fluent in English. Being able to speak Chinese will be a plus.
• Driving Licence B.
