We are seeking a talented Prototyper IV to join our team. The main function of a Prototyper is to research design and create prototypes in required areas including augmented and virtual reality. A typical prototype is responsible for building and enhancing prototyping platforms in partnership with other prototypers and technical teams. Job Responsibilities:
- Build cuttingedge prototypes that demonstrate value and guide roadmaps of future MR products.
- Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines making the architectural tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver software solutions.
- Write clean readable code debug complex problems that span systems prioritize ruthlessly and get things done with a high level of efficiency.
- Learn constantly dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies and embrace the ambiguity of MR problemsolving.
- Research design and create interactive prototypes.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to build and enhance prototyping platforms.
- Set up and maintain prototypes and present them to various audiences.
- Communicate analysis to your crossfunctional partners.
- Give and solicit realtime feedback from others in order to improve the quality of the product.
- Partner effectively with PMs engineers user researchers content strategists & QA overseeing the implementation of the user experience from product conception to launch as well as postlaunch design support.
- Contribute to strategic decisions working with the Design Product and Executive teams.
- Create productready assets for internal rapid testing and external release.
- Advocate for product design.
Skills:
- Experience with realtime 3D development.
- Strong programming ability in one or more languages (C# C/C Python Java).
- Experience with AR/VR and game development.
- Creativity verbal and written communication skills and problemsolving ability are required.
- Strong ability to visualize in 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design.
- Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new images.
- Expert problemsolving and conflictresolution skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computational complexity algorithm design lowlevel computer architecture and software design.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
