Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome members and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer screen and forward incoming calls while providing accurate information.
- Manage the reception area ensuring it is clean organized and presentable.
- Handle membership inquiries provide information about gym services and assist with new member signups.
- Assist in maintaining security by following procedures and controlling access.
- Process payments for gym services merchandise and memberships.
- Maintain an organized filing system and manage administrative tasks such as data entry and document preparation.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for members and personal trainers.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory.
- Assist in resolving any member concerns or issues in a professional and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth and efficient gym operations.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating special events and promotions at the gym.
- Adhere to all company policies procedures and confidentiality guidelines.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by fostering open communication and teamwork.
- Stay updated on gym offerings policies and procedures to provide accurate information to members and guests.
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a similar customerfacing role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and office software.
- Ability to maintain a polished and professional appearance.
