Role: ACI Network Engineer

Location: Hybrid onsite in San Jose CA Candidates must be local

Duration: C2C ( 6 Month)

Assist in building out a new ACI network fabric running on Sonic OS.

Design Configure and Deploy Cisco 8K Series Routers

Research evaluate design implement and maintain system and product solutions applying knowledge of (ACI) engineering principles.

Provide Tier lll technical support for ACI technologies

Automate and perform daily operational duties supporting the Data Center Application Centric Infrastructure

Develop and maintain advanced functional knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition concepts and trends.

Qualifications:

8 Years of experience (must have 45 with ACI)

Expertise configuring Nexus switches

Experience implementing troubleshooting and automating ACI solutions

Tier lll escalation support experience in a Data Center environment

Experience working with Cisco 8K Series Routers

Expert executing basic Network Routing Protocols like OSPF BGP and working knowledge of ISIS (Integrated Intermediate SystemtoIntermediate System) for ACI routing.

Knowledge of VLAN or MACsec (Media Access Control security)

Solid understanding of the Data Center industry products and protocols.

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training education and experience

Advanced verbal and written communication skills

Effective organizational planning and time management skills

Nice to have:

Experience with SONiC OS or other opensource network operating systems

Working knowledge of SAI (Switch Abstraction Interface)

CCNP or CCIE Certification
