Job Overview:
Our client is at the forefront of renewable energy technology specializing in innovative
biogas solutions that transform organic waste into clean energy for everyday use. Is looking to hire a Marketing Communication Manager you will be tasked with playing a crucial role in shaping our brand s voice and expanding our market presence across Kenya. You will be responsible for crafting compelling marketing campaigns and engaging with our community through dynamic content and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement strategic marketing plans to promote awareness and adoption of biogas
- technology.
- Create engaging digital and offline content that highlights the benefits and impact of our
- products including success stories from our customers.
- Organize community outreach programs workshops and exhibitions to educate the public on the benefits of biogas solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing or communications with a preference for candidates who have worked in the renewable energy sector.
- Bachelors degree in marketing Communications Environmental Studies or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swahili.
- Strong understanding of the Kenyan media landscape and cultural nuances.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention
- to detail.
- Passionate about sustainability and environmental conservation.

A Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields, a Master's Degree is also desirable. Professional qualifications in Sales and Marketing. At least 10 years extensive experience in senior management level, preferably within the Energy sector. Experience in the Ugandan or East Africa petroleum industry shall be added advantage. Experience in managing budgets effectively, financial management, setting up effective metrics and business processes. Leadership experience with a thorough knowledge of marketing principles, product or service management, sales and business development, and is target driven with the ability to acquire and close contracts. Analytical skills and ability to interpret sales performance and market trend information. Proven ability and experience managing and leading high performance management teams to achieve significant sales revenue targets. Demonstrable experience in strategy planning and execution. The ability to understand changing market dynamics, translating them into an actionable strategy and implementing the strategy to achieve pre-set objectives. Demonstrated strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the strategic marketing and selling process.
