Introduction : The importance the average Asian family places on education based on the
time and percentage of income they are willing to spend on it far outweighs its importance in
any other part of the world. This is clearly been reflected in the growth of the overall higher
education market in India. With GER expected to touch 50% by the year 2035 there seems to
be a huge potential opportunity.
Job Description
We are seeking a talented Technical Content Writer to join our team. As a Technical Content Writer you
will be responsible for creating longform articles tailored to the needs of our university clients. Your
primary goal will be to produce highquality informative and engaging content that highlights the
technical aspects of various subjects programs and research initiatives offered by our client universities.
Responsibilities:
1.
Writing about coding and scripting languages/tools such as C Python Excel DBMS SQL Java
etc.
2.
Working and experimenting with code samples to better understand the needs of API consumers.
3.
Incorporating visuals such as infographics diagrams and screenshots to enhance understanding
and improve the visual appeal of documentation.
4.
Writing articles and tutorials targeting technical audiences i.e. developers and programmers.
5.
Working closely with the SEO team to align keywords and best practices.
6.
Grasping complex technical concepts quickly and translating them into understandable content for
diverse user audiences.
7.
Developing technical documentation including tutorials guides release notes API documentation
and online help that meets the needs of various user audiences.
8.
Planning developing organizing writing and editing operational procedures and manuals.
9.
Creating and building out a Knowledge Base including howto guides FAQs and Help sections.
Qualifications
1.
Bachelors
degree
in
Computer
Science/Information
Technology
or
similar
field.
A
Masters degree is a plus.
2.
Proven experience in technical writing particularly in the education sector.
3.
Excellent research skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and
accessible content.
4.
Strong writing editing and proofreading skills with impeccable attention to detail.
5.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
6.
Ability to work independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
