We re looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to take ownership of delivering exceptional first impressions.A little taste of your day-to-day:• Implements high service standards as per hotel procedure• Represents the restaurant at scheduled F&B meetings in the absence of the Outlet Manager or Asst. Outlet Manager as well as daily briefings• Holds daily briefings to discuss various aspects of service, sources of complaints and transmits• Maintains employee s attendance records and change of status• Schedules staff duties according to forecasts and special arrangements• Checks on appearance of staff e.g. proper uniforms and personal hygiene• Ensures high standard of sanitation and hygiene in the restaurant. For this, a close working relationship with both the Housekeeper as well as the Steward are essential• Promotes up selling at all levels and by personal efforts through guest contacts• Handles and advises the Outlet Manager / Asst. Outlet Manager on all guest comments and complaints• Recommends to the Outlet Manager / Asst. Outlet Manager changes in methods or equipment to improve service• Attends as well as organizes necessary training sessions whether within or outside of normal schedule working hours• Is confident in answering the phone according to agreed standards, being fully aware of booking procedures, including parties and arrangements.• Has a full knowledge of the food and beverage served in the outlet and their preparation and presentation• Performs are other duty as required by superior• Ensures that the operating equipment and general supplies for the restaurant are maintained• Establishes par stocks and initiates requisitions for additional supplies if necessary• Performs other duties as it may be required by the Outlet Manager and immediate supervisors• Maintains a high level of confidentiality• Ensures that all guests are welcomed, seated and thanked on departure• Guest satisfaction must always be checked and any problems encountered must be relayed to the outlet in charge• Creates an environment, which promotes staff morale and encourages the employee ensuring maximum efficiencyWhat We Need From YouIdeally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:• Similar experience in a luxury hotel and/or resort• Knowledge in Opera PMS is essential• Strong communication skills• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent command of written and spoken English• Additional language is an added advantage•
