Medical oncologist DM

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and treatment for individuals with cancer including chemotherapy hormonal therapy targeted therapy and immunotherapy
• Lead and participate in clinical trials to advance cancer treatment and research
• Coordinate with other specialists such as surgeons and radiation oncologists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on cancer prognosis treatment options and potential side effects
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure highquality and holistic care for cancer patients
• Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of oncologyrelated protocols and procedures
• Participate in tumor boards case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in the field of oncology
• Conduct research publish articles and present at medical conferences

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Medical Oncology
• Fellowship training in Medical Oncology
• Active state medical license
• Proven experience in the diagnosis and treatment of various types of cancer
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Empathetic and compassionate approach to patient care
• Publication record in peerreviewed journals is desirable
