Art teacher- Excellent school in Barnet- April start

Responsibilities

• Plan prepare and deliver highquality Art lessons to primary/secondary students.
• Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment for students of all abilities.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum.
• Assess and evaluate students progress through regular assignments projects and examinations.
• Encourage student participation and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop and improve the Art curriculum.
• Participate in school events parentteacher meetings and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Art or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Art in a primary or secondary school setting.
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies.
• Strong understanding of different art techniques styles and art history.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to explore their creativity.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Organizational and time management skills to effectively plan lessons and meet deadlines.
