Key responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive consultations and examinations to assess patient health and determine personalized treatment plans
• Administering Panchkarma therapies such as Abhyanga Swedana and Basti to promote detoxification and rejuvenation
• Prescribing and preparing Ayurvedic formulations herbal medicines and dietary recommendations tailored to individual patient needs
• Monitoring patients progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes
• Providing lifestyle counseling and stress management guidance to support holistic wellbeing
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to integrate Ayurvedic practices into overall patient care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records to track treatment effectiveness and ensure continuity of care
• Participating in educational initiatives to raise awareness about Ayurveda and Panchkarma therapy
• Staying uptodate with advancements in Ayurvedic medicine and integrating new techniques into practice
• Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and expand knowledge in the field
• Ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in all aspects of patient care
• Conducting research and contributing to the development of Ayurvedic healthcare practices
• Promoting a positive and compassionate healing environment for patients and their families
• Participating in community engagement activities to promote Ayurveda and holistic wellness principles

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from a recognized institution
• MD in Ayurveda or equivalent postgraduate qualification focusing on Panchkarma
• Valid state licensure or registration as an Ayurvedic practitioner
• Proven clinical experience in delivering Panchkarma therapies and Ayurvedic treatments
• Indepth understanding of Ayurvedic principles classical texts and diagnostic methods
• Proficiency in prescribing and preparing Ayurvedic formulations and herbal medicines
• Strong consultation and patient assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to establish rapport with patients
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning in Ayurvedic medicine
• Ethical practice and adherence to patient confidentiality and privacy principles
• Comprehensive knowledge of holistic wellness practices and lifestyle counseling
• Ability to maintain accurate and organized patient records and documentation
