Emulation Engineer - 30610

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain emulation and cosimulation environments
• Collaborate with design and verification teams to understand the design requirements
• Execute and debug complex ASIC designs on emulation platforms
• Implement and optimize testbenches for emulation
• Create and maintain emulation models for new and existing designs
• Perform systemlevel and blocklevel debugging on emulation platforms
• Ensure emulation platform stability and performance
• Integrate emulation tools and flows into the design and validation processes
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of emulation methodologies and best practices
• Provide support and guidance to other team members on emulationrelated tasks

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field
• 3 years of handson experience in emulation or FPGAbased prototyping
• Solid understanding of Verilog and SystemVerilog
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as TCL Perl or Python
• Experience with emulation platforms such as Palladium Veloce or Zebu
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to isolate and resolve complex issues
• Knowledge of ASIC design and verification methodologies
• Familiarity with hardware description languages and digital design concepts
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative crossfunctional team environment
• Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
• Experience in presilicon validation and debugging is a plus
• Understanding of software development processes and tools is a bonus
• Capability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Proven track record of delivering highquality work under tight schedules
