Key responsibilities

• Performing phacoemulsification surgeries three days a week
• Evaluating and diagnosing eye conditions and diseases
• Developing treatment plans and discussing surgical options with patients
• Utilizing advanced surgical techniques to enhance patient outcomes
• Conducting preoperative and postoperative care for surgical patients
• Collaborating with other medical professionals to provide holistic patient care
• Keeping accurate and updated patient records

• Participating in medical research and contributing to academic pursuits
• Adhering to medical ethics and maintaining patient confidentiality
• Providing guidance and supervision to medical support staff

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with specialization in ophthalmology
• Completion of residency training in ophthalmic surgery
• Board certification in ophthalmology
• Licensure to practice medicine as an ophthalmologist
• Proven experience in performing phacoemulsification surgeries
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Excellent handeye coordination and fine motor skills
• Strong clinical acumen and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
