Product Manager Dermocosmetics

DelPonte is a Talent Development & Acquisition Boutique Firm operating across the GCC and the Middle East. Our client is a one of the most competing companies in Pharmaceutical healthcare and Cosmeceutical products in Qatar. In line with their current expansion they are actively hiring and we have been entrusted by our client to manage the recruitment of their core team. This role is pivotal in managing the interface between medical prescriptions coordinating medical events and steering the retail channels including ensuring product visibility devising promotional offers handling social media strategies orchestrating onground activation events and overseeing all Direct To Consumer (DTC) Marketing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both the medical and cosmetic sectors with a keen understanding of consumer needs and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Management and Strategy
  • Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies for the dermocosmetics portfolio that align with the companys objectives and market needs.
  • Conduct market research to understand competitor landscape market trends and customer needs to inform product positioning and innovation.
  • Collaborate with R&D and regulatory affairs to guide the development of new products and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Medico/ Prescription Management
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals to increase product awareness and inclusion in medical prescriptions.
  • Organize and manage medical detailing efforts to educate dermatologists pharmacists and other healthcare professionals about the product range.
  • Develop and maintain uptodate scientific and clinical data to support product effectiveness and safety and equip the sales force with all the necessary updates and the necessary tools to effectively promote the brands to dermatologists.
  • Medical Events
  • Plan organize and execute medical events such as conferences seminars and webinars aimed at healthcare professionals to promote the dermocosmetics portfolio.
  • Coordinate with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and speakers for event participation and content delivery.
  • Evaluate the impact of medical events on product awareness and adoption among healthcare professionals.
  • Retail Channel Management
  • Develop strategies to enhance product visibility and placement in both physical and online retail channels.
  • Negotiate and secure promotional spaces and opportunities within retail environments.
  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment on product strategy and sales targets.
  • Direct To Consumer Marketing
  • Oversee the creation and execution of DTC marketing campaigns including social media strategies onground activation events and promotional offers.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of DTC activities adjusting strategies as needed to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing teams to optimize online presence and ecommerce sales.
  • Crossfunctional Collaboration
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams including sales regulatory affairs and Business Development to ensure cohesive strategy implementation and product success.
  • Present regular updates and reports to senior management on product performance market trends and strategic initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree from a reputable university.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages with exceptional communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing and promoting dermocosmetic products at a managerial level.
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience as a Product Marketing Manager in the DermoCosmetics industry.
  • Experience in Qatar is a plus
