Senior Accountant

This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements. This is a fulltime remote role with occasional inoffice meetings in Richmond VA. This role will report directly to the CFO.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Monthly review of all general ledger transactions and proper recording
  
• Completing all monthly close procedures
  
• Ensuring an accurate and timely monthly quarterly and yearend close
  
• Assisting the CFO with monthly financial statement preparation and supporting schedules to ensure deadlines are met
  
• Analyzing financial data monthly and reporting variances
  
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
  
• Collaborating with other teams to support business goals and objectives
  
• Working with the CFO to ensure a clean and timely yearend audit
  
• Supporting CFO with special projects and workflow process improvements
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
  
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in accounting budgets data analysis and financial reporting
  
• Nonprofit and/or Healthcare experience required
  
• Experience with Multiview is preferred
  
• CPA certification is a plus
