In 2023 Edge Tutor spun out of Edukasyon.ph to focus entirely on its mission of offering an exceptional online tutoring service. The team at Edge Tutor comprises industry experts with decades of experience working with some of the worlds most prominent online tutoring companies such as Education First VIPKID 51Talk and AllRight. Moreover the team members hold qualifications and training from distinguished institutions such as Cambridge University and Trinity College London.

About the Role:

We are looking for a UI/UX consultant who will be collaborating closely with the Marketing team to enhance our user interface and user experience ensuring our platform is userfriendly visually appealing and aligned with our mission of providing exceptional online tutoring services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research to understand user behavior and preferences.
• Create wireframes prototypes and mockups to visualize design concepts.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement usercentric design solutions.
• Gather and incorporate feedback from users to improve the user experience.
• Ensure our digital products are accessible responsive and visually engaging.
• Stay uptodate with UI/UX trends and best practices.

Work Setup:

• Number of hours required per week: 20 hours per week (4 hours per day)
• Work arrangement: Parttime consultant role with flexibility in work hours.

Skills and Experience Required for this Role:

• Proven experience as a UI/UX consultant or specialist with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Adobe XD Sketch or Figma.
• Solid understanding of usercentered design principles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Strong communication skills to convey design concepts and rationale.
• Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) is a plus.
• Familiarity with usability testing and user research methodologies.
