Social Media Intern

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and curating engaging content for various social media platforms
• Monitor social media channels and respond to comments messages and inquiries
• Support the implementation of social media campaigns and strategies
• Conduct research on industry trends and audience preferences to optimize content
• Assist in creating and analyzing social media performance reports using analytics tools
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with overall marketing initiatives
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for social media content
• Engage with the online community and build relationships with followers and influencers
• Stay updated on emerging social media trends and best practices
• Assist in managing the social media content calendar and scheduling posts
• Support the development and execution of social media contests and promotions
• Assist in creating visual and written content including graphics videos and blog posts
• Contribute to the maintenance of the organizations social media accounts
• Provide general administrative support to the social media team

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing Communications or a related field
• Demonstrated passion for and knowledge of social media platforms and trends
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools
• Basic understanding of SEO and content optimization
• Experience with content creation including graphic design and video editing
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detailoriented with a creative mindset
• Familiarity with social media advertising and paid promotion is a plus
• Understanding of analytics and reporting to measure social media performance
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of copyright and privacy regulations related to social media content
• Flexibility to adapt to fastpaced and evolving priorities
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and eagerness to learn
