FPGA Development Engineer mfx Aerospace

To support our team at a renowned customer in the aerospace industry we are looking for an FPGA Development Engineer (m/f/x) in Munich for a permanent position at Ktronik. Does that sound interesting Then we look forward to receiving your application!

Tasks:

• Specification and development of FPGA designs and FPGA board interfaces
• Design and implementation of FPGA designs on the target hardware
• Failure investigations on test hardware in a laboratory environment
• Development of FPGA test procedures and creation of test result reports
• Improvement of existing designs using realtime static timing and postlayout simulations

Skills:

• Completed university degree in the field of electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in FPGA development in a processcontrolled environment (DO254 MILSTD ISO26262)
• Good knowledge of RTL design with VHDL or Verilog
• Experience with FPGA verification methods (e.g. RTL STA UVM) and tools such as QuestaSim
• Confident handling of a requirements management tool such as DOORS Polarion or comparable
• Experience with communication interfaces such as RS486 ARINC429 CAN 2.0 or comparable
• Fluency in English
• Enthusiasm and curiosity for working on electronic systems for the aerospace industry would also be desirable:
• Knowledge of digital signal processing
• Experience in mixedsignal circuit design
• German and/or French language skills
