As a Control Engineer student you will be part of a team developing and deploying cuttingedge control algorithms mathematical models and state estimation techniques for Autonomous Vehicle Control. The position is designed to offer handson experience in solving complex problems and optimizing solutions for realworld autonomous driving applications.
Responsibilities:
Development and Deployment:
- Assist in the design and implementation of stateoftheart control algorithms for autonomous driving.
- Contribute to the development of mathematical models to simulate and assess vehicle performance in realworld scenarios.
- Support the creation and refinement of state estimation algorithms using inertial sensors.
- Engage in the optimization of solutions to complex autonomous driving challenges.
Collaboration and Learning:
- Work closely with senior engineers across multiple disciplines including perception system integration and machine learning to ensure the seamless integration of algorithms.
- Participate in systemlevel testing and experiments to validate algorithm performance.
Requirements :
- 4th year student for BSc or MSc in Electrical Mechanical Aeronautical Engineering or a related field with a focus on control theory.
- Availability of 2 full working days per week and during summer / holiday vacations.
- Basic knowledge of motion planning control algorithms and dynamic systems.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C Python.
